leaktracer software package provides Simple and efficient memory-leak tracer for C++ programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install leaktracer
leaktracer is installed in your system.
Make ensure the leaktracer package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep leaktracer *
You will get with leaktracer package name, version, architecture and description in a table
